Insurance, Translated
The overwhelming part,
made simple.
Insurance claims feel intimidating because the language is foreign and the stakes are personal. Our role is to sit beside you, translate it, and make sure your home is represented fairly through every step.

The Claim Journey
Six steps, calmly walked together.
Inspection & Documentation
We complete a thorough inspection of your roof and document every finding with photos, measurements, and notes. If damage is present and worth filing for, we’ll tell you. If it isn’t, we’ll tell you that too.
Filing Your Claim
You file your claim with your insurance carrier, it has to come from you, the homeowner. We provide everything you need to make that call easy: damage notes, dates, photos, and a script if helpful.
Meeting the Adjuster
We meet your insurance adjuster on site. We walk the roof with them, share our documentation, and ensure nothing important gets overlooked. You don’t have to navigate that meeting alone.
Reviewing the Scope
Once the adjuster issues a scope of work and estimate, we review it line by line with you. We translate the language, flag anything that looks off, and help you understand what your policy is actually covering.
Restoration
Work begins on a timeline that fits your life. We coordinate with your carrier for any supplements (additional approved work), keep documentation clean, and protect your home through every phase.
Final Documentation
Completion photos, invoices, and any final paperwork required by your carrier, all handled, organized, and delivered. Your file closes cleanly.

explained.

Scope of Work
The list of items the adjuster has approved for repair or replacement.
Supplement
Additional work needed beyond the original scope, submitted for approval mid-project.
Depreciation
The portion of value held back initially and released after completion.
Common Questions
Honest answers.
Generally, claims tied to weather events (wind, hail) are considered ‘acts of nature’ and handled differently than at-fault claims. We always recommend speaking with your agent first, and we’re happy to be on that call if helpful.
Your deductible is the amount you pay out of pocket before your insurance covers the rest. It’s your responsibility, and any contractor who offers to ‘cover’ or ‘waive’ it is asking you to participate in insurance fraud. We never do that.
Most policies require claims be filed within a specific window after the storm event, often one year, sometimes less. If you suspect damage, we recommend an inspection sooner rather than later.
Just be home for the conversation if possible. We handle the rest, the inspection, the documentation, and walking you through what we find.
Then we’ll tell you that, plainly, and recommend you do not file a claim. Filing without legitimate damage helps no one, least of all you.
